From the moment you are picked up from the airport (without your name on a sign, for confidentiality, no less) and driven in luxury to the resort, the welcome itself is a pleasant treat, with a row of staff greeting you in unison with ‘Welcome to Amanoi.’
Amanoi is nestled within the stunning Nui Chua National Park and overlooks the serene Vinh Hy Bay. The personal touches create an exclusive experience unlike any other and, at times, can take your breath away.
When I entered the gift shop for the first time, I was greeted warmly with “Welcome, Mr. Victor,” as if they knew me well. I asked if we had met before, and they replied, “No, but we know all our guests at Amanoi.” We enjoyed lunch before checking in, and when I asked for the lunch bill, I was informed that “there is no need to sign, Sir.” Indeed, when checking out, bills are summarized, and I was told that no one has ever disputed their food and beverage charges.
When I mentioned during lunch that I was not consuming sugar and reducing my carbohydrates, the next day at the beach club, the waitress asked if she should have the chef prepare my appetizer without sugar.
The accommodation is stunning, with stylish rooms featuring private decks that seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings. The resort’s comprehensive amenities include a high-end restaurant serving exquisite cuisine, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a tranquil lakeside spa that promises ultimate relaxation.
When we leave our accommodation, it feels like a team of staff rushes in to set up and clean the rooms; even the towels and soaps are replaced. No one bothers you, if you need anything – watch it arrive!
